Preschool Fitness Fun Unit
Fitness Fun Unit
The fitness fun unit focuses on practicing exercises that are healthy for the heart and lungs.
The exercise activities are designed to get children moving in the classroom and to encourage them to move wherever they are, even when they are not playing a sport or game. The classroom movement activities can be good ways to "blow off steam" when the children are getting restless, and also can act as a "pick me up" if the children are tired, bored, or sluggish. The activities that are taught during these lessons can be used at any time that the class needs to burn off some energy or needs to get energized.
